Recently The Staff Selection Commission has announced notification for Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2018. The Computer Based Examination was held from 5th to 7th February 2019 now all candidates are waiting for SSC Steno Result & Cut off to know the eligibility status for next round i.e. DV/Skill test.
Based on the performance of the aspirants in the CBE, 11211 candidates have provisionally qualified for participating in the skill test for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 15953 aspirants have provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill test for the post of Stenographer Grade D.

SSB Stenographer Grade C and D Result 2019
The SSC Stenographer minimum passing marks are the minimum marks that applicants have to secure in the computer-based test so that they can participate for the Skill test which is the second stage of the SSC Steno Grade C & D Recrutiment. The Cutoff marks are minimum qualifying marks obtained by the candidates in the exam to eligible for next selection phases. There are various factors which affect the cut off such as Total Number of vacancies, a number of candidates participated in the exam and previous year cut off & paper difficulty level. How to check SSC Steno Exam Result 2019
- First candidates visit the official website i.e. ssc.nic.in
- At the home page, go to the result section
- Select Stenographer links and open it
- A result PDF page will be displayed with Cutoff Marks and Exam Marks.
- Candidates check their Name and roll number from the result page.
- Also, check SSC Stenographer Result 2019 subject wise marks
- Click on submit button and save the result page
- Take a print out of result for further use
SSC Stenographer Selection Process
Initially, candidates have to undergo for the computer-based exam which was already conducted in the first of February 2019. Qualified candidates in written test will be called for skill test. After that Commission will declare the Result of Skill Test, the selected aspirants will then be eligible to participate for Document verification. At the time of verification, the candidates need to report at the designated center as per the schedule is given by Commission.
SSC Stenographer Skill Test Result 2019
Aspirants who obtain the qualifying marks in the exam as may be prescribed by the Commission will be called for the Skill test. The aspirants will have to participate in the skill test in Stenography. The Aspirants will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 words per minute for Stenographer Grade D.

Tie-Breaker Criteria While preparing the Merit list
In the case of two or more aspirants obtain equal aggregate marks, the tie can be resolved by considering the rules in the following order-
- Computer-based Exam marks
- Skill Test exam marks
- Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher
- Alphabetical order in which first names of the aspirants participate.
